American Legion Post #1 has been the anchor of its community since 1919. This storied hall has served generations of veterans and their families and continues to do so presently.
The hall boasts two event rooms to host your private events: the cavernous Washington room (150 Seated) and the more intimate Lincoln room (50 Seated). Between the two, Post #1 can accommodate most any event large or small.
Hundreds of local families have held their special events at the Leonia Legion including Birthdays for all ages, Weddings, Sweet Sixteens, Anniversaries, Retirements, Repasts, Memorials, Christenings, Communions, Confirmations, Bar and Bas Mitzvahs and more.
The Legion is also perfectly appointed to host business meetings, training and networking events.

Our Grounds can be included for outdoor events either open air or tented. Countless children have been lost in imagination while playing by our anchor which is the from the USS Intrepid!
